“Whole person care, for the whole community.”
Mission:
Crossover Health Services (CHS) is a Christian 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to restoring the community by embodying Christ’s compassion through holistic healthcare. Our services address the physical, spiritual, mental, and economic needs of individuals. CHS aims to exemplify and communicate the principles of the Christian faith within the community, as outlined in the Crossover Statement of Faith Policy. We are committed to serving all individuals, regardless of age, gender, race, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation, including the uninsured or underinsured, to promote comprehensive health and well-being throughout our community.
Our Commitments:
- Holistic Approach: We integrate spiritual care into our services, recognizing the significance of faith for overall well-being.
- Community and Relationship Focus: We prioritize building lasting connections with our patients and champion a collaborative approach to health.
- Affordable Services: We offer sliding fee discounts to ensure our services are accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial background.
Vision:
CHS envisions a Christian healthcare movement where faith, strong relationships, and shared resources drive community restoration and eliminate health disparities. We believe that healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and that every individual should have the opportunity to thrive. Our goal is a future where healthy individuals and strong families lead to thriving institutions and peaceful neighborhoods in our community.
Values:
- Relocation: Our medical professionals become embedded neighbors, fostering trust and understanding within the community.
- Reconciliation: Our service and interactions dissolve racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic barriers, leading to a more unified community reconciled to one another and God.
- Redistribution: We intentionally use our skills, knowledge, networks, and resources to empower and uplift our neighbors.
- Servitude: Treating each patient with care and compassion. Promoting health by striving to fully understand each person’s thoughts and feelings about the underlying causes of illness. (Mark 10:45)
- Equipping: Identifying each individual’s strengths and providing the tools that will enable them to find a meaningful place in the community. (Ephesians 4:12)
- Unity: Demonstrating how followers of Jesus can come together to make a difference in the health of our community, providing an environment where members of many parts of the Christian community can contribute their unique gifts and talents (1 Corinthians 1:10).
- Excellence: Striving for excellence in the care and services we provide. We desire to provide quality healthcare services to the underserved in a distinctively Christian context. (Colossians 3:23)
